Aurora Australis on 11 May 2024
Space weather forecasters predicted a severe solar storm that reached extreme levels on the weekend of 10 and 11 May. Many people saw amazing displays of auroras, even in the Southern Hemisphere! Here are some of the photos our readers sent us. The Aurora Australis was reportedly also seen from South African skies.
